This was my second visit to this fantastic ramen spot, and I'm just as impressed as the first time! One of my favorite features is the ability to make a reservation online, which makes the process seamless. As soon as we arrived, we were able to start right away, which I really appreciate. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to explaining the menu. My boyfriend has dietary restrictions and isn't allowed to eat pork due to his religion, so I was grateful that our server took the time to provide recommendations that suited his needs. As usual, the place looks really nice, and I love the decor. It has a quiet atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxing meal. The TV screens playing anime add a fun touch to the experience--last time I was there, they were playing *Doraemon*, which is one of my favorites from childhood! I came back specifically to try the steak ramen, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were incredible, and it was just what I was craving. I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in the Oakland area. If you're a ramen lover, this place is a must-visit!

This is a relatively new ramen place in Oakland. It's the same owner as Farmhouse Kitchen, so I've heard. You can tell that their decoration style is also similar to Farmhouse Kitchen. When you walk it, it hits the heart of every 90s kid, Pokemon and Sailor Moon. I love the Pokemon Christmas tree. Similar to Farmhouse Kitchen, this place is not cheap. The portion is normal and the food is not bad. I tried their bento box (extra $6) with the black garlic ramen. It was pretty good. It does satisfy the ramen craving. However, this isn't the best ramen spot in Oakland. Given the price point and other ramen options, it is hard to say if Ill come back. However, this is not a bad spot for anyone looking for some good ramen.

This is definitely one of the best ramen places i've been to! I came on a Saturday night, the wait was a little bit long so my friend and I decided to sit at the bad which had no wait time. The restaurant is so aesthetic, the waiters are all dressed up and everything in the restaurant is so cute. I got the spicy Miso ramen and it was 10/10 the broth was amazing! I also loved the complementary edamame. We also got drinks and the decorations on the shot glasses were so cute! the shots were all good! Some were on the sweater side, and two of them were on the strong side. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a good dinner!

I ordered the noka Classic tonkatsu ramen. it was good. I just didn't enjoy the smell of it. It had a strong pork smell. I still finished it. our server named "N" Was really enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. My brother ordered a sailor moon flight which he was really excited about. I ordered a power ranger drink. it was a little too strong for my liking but I finished it as well. it's an instagram worthy place. Parking was easy to find in the garage.

Beautiful place for ramen, but it's definitely on the pricy side. My friends and I came to Noka for dinner before going to see a movie nearby. We got there on Tuesday around 5:15 pm and were the first group seated. The first thing you notice when you step in is that it's beautifully decorated with lots of greenery and flowers everywhere. Looks more like a instagrammable brunch spot than a ramen place lol Because we were there during happy hour (5-6 pm), we ordered a couple of items off the hh menu to share, including the karaage and brussel sprouts, for $10 each. For happy hour, only some appies are included as far as food goes, but they have some drink specials as well. I liked the brussel sprouts, which came in a generous portion, but I found the karaage a bit bland. For my main, I had the classic tonkotsu for $18. I loved everything about my bowl of ramen. The broth was super tasty, the chashu was tender and flavorful, and the soft boiled egg was perfectly cooked. I prefer thick noodles and found the noodles here quite thin, but that's a matter of personal preference. Would love to come back, especially for a girls night out!

I've had this spot on my mind for a while and just haven't gotten around to it, at least until now haha so here I am. I ordered the Sailor Moon Flights and the Ikari steak ramen. The flights were pretty cool. I liked the presentation of it. It was really colorful and lit up. It also had the cool Sailor Moon action figures with it. Sadly though you can't keep them haha. The flights itself were decent, my favorites were the ones at the end. The ramen was pretty good. They told me that the ramen was spicy, but honestly it just has a little kick to it that adds so much flavor. I also liked the flame haha. The service my party had here was pretty good. Our server N, was very attentive and kind. He was very enthusiastic and knew a lot about their menu. He deserves a raise. They have different themes depending on what day you come here. Power ranger theme on Friday, Sailor Moon on Saturday, and Pokémon theme on Sunday. I came on Saturday and all the workers were dressed nic to the theme. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated to with a lot of attractive lights. All in all, I definitely recommend checking this ramen spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)

If I could describe Noka Ramen in one word, it would be FUN! The decor, the uniforms, and the menu (esp the drinks) are fun! And they had pokemon playing on the big screen. Overall, we had a good experience! Noka Ramen has a great location at Jack London Square; Jack London Square was a nice place to walk before and after going to Noka. Our server was friendly and (sorry to say it again) fun as well! As for the food, it was yummy! In general, the broths and toppings were flavorful, and the meats were tender! I also really enjoyed the complimentary edamame. I feel like the menu is a little pricey, but I understand that Noka is trendy and the experience is definitely part of the price. Next time, I hope to try their cocktails because they're soo cute and look yummy! Also I wanna try their special ramens because they're very unique!

Great ramen!!! The care and time they spend on the broth is so noticeable. They're serious about their broth! Come on Friday an Saturday for themed days! The downside is sometimes we've had to wait a while to get our food and the prices feel a bit steep for every menu and drink item - even for its location, it feels steep.
